I don't care if there is rapping or not, as long as it's quality rapping, you know? Quality over quantity.

IMO, Mike's rapping wasn't the problem in Meteora... the thing was they didn't blend the rapping and singing as good as they could have, I think... just my thoughts, though :)

thats 100% true.... they should work on that more and without a doubt they will produce a top class album. the prime example of this off meteora IMO, even though this is my favorite song, is Nobodys Listening.

    - chaz screamin more
    - mike singing more instead of rapping all the time
    - guitar solos
    - longer songs!!!
    - yea and in general heavier music
    - oh and it would be pretty cool if chaz had a song for himself and the same goes for mike. state of the art was pretty cool.

As everybody else says, more screaming...

however i want more "Lying From You" screaming, not "Hit The Floor" Screaming

And also longer songs and therefore a longer CD (but of course its the quality that counts)

I for one hope they dont go punk, and stay LP!

1.Longer album, maybe 45-50 minutes, with longer songs

2.A little heavier, with guitar solos every now and again

3.Songs that have 3 verces, and are set diferently than v/c/v/c/b/c/end

4.Songs that talk about more than a person, and deal with diferent subjects

    5. An orchistra that can be heard, unlike bth, and also more piano on tracks

    6. A hip-hop rap song with no chester, kinda like Step Up

    7. A hard as nails rock song with no mike.

    8. Another cure for the itch/session mix, those are always nice by mr. hahn.

    9. Some tracks just like the other albums, same old LP sound, so we know they are still here, still LP, just better.
    _______________________________________

    1. Track one, hard rock song, with rapping 4:00
    2. Another hard rock song, with rapping, and guitar solo 3:30
    3. Ease it down with a softer one, kinda like In the End 4:15
    4. Pick it up with a HARD song, like Hit the Floor, guitar solo inbetween the chorus and bridge, lots of screaming, 3:20
    5. Ease it down, but not much, with chester solo track, 3:30
    6. A song like points of athority, not that hard, but more dj than guitar.. 3:45
    7. A song like faint/osc with 10 second guitar solo 4:00
    8. A soft meaningfull song, with orchistra, and chester belting it out 4:30
    9. Get the album back on track with mike solo rap non-watered down lyrics, awesome like he used to be[ie: its going down, fuse, high voltage] 4:15
    10. to set the mood after the rap track, solo by hahn 2:50
    11. a song like from the inside, soft at first, but by the end it becomes hard 3:20
    12. A hard as nails rock song, screaming like the end of OSC, angry rapping, and dj link inbetween bridge and chorus 3:30
    13. a totally diferent song, unheard of, a big surpirse 4:15
    14. An ending love song, soft and wonderfull, with guitar fading away becomming an outro to the album 4:40

Just get the soft songs out of your list, and I would say it's perfect. In their places put a really fast and tasteful Mike rap solo and a really hard Chester solo

    My wishlist:
    1. More complex riffs played during verses, like the one in Don't Stay for example.
    2. A song with the creativity of Breaking The Habit, but heavier.
    3. Some upbeat lyrics here and there. You can only go so far with angst.
    4. More songs without rapping and with Chester singing, to enable Brad and Mike to play multi-layered riffs during the verses.
    5. Mike on production duties.
    6. The occasional scratch/drum/guitar solo.
    7. Rob and Phi to be more apparent parts of the band.
    8. More charismatic/passionate rapping. Protools seems to really f*** up Mikes vocals, usually he just drones.
    9. More keyboards, that aren't always set to Grand Piano.
    10. Different types of percussion, such as rubbish bins and metal girders being clapped together. :chemist:

    1. Faster rapping with Mike (in verses, change from fast to slow pace)
    2. More complex lyrics, not emo, but just more depth
    3. Brad guitar riffs more complicated, but mainly play 3 to 4 diff variations per song, maybe add a pseudo guitar solo, like Chevelle or SOAD
    4. Change up the song structures. Maybe hide it having chester sing a loud and quiet chorus. End some songs with the verse. Have more pre-choruses, maybe repeat the bridge. Less continous singing that LP always uses. Do more, start stop, interchanging
    5. More screaming, but less during the bridge
    6. Bass solos not necessary, just turn up the volume and use the bass as an intro instrument and have it come in loud again at the end of the song
    7. Background singing by Mike
    8. Piano ballads
    9. Rob just add more fills and drum rolls in certain parts

basically what most of you guys want.

    More screaming from Chester
less raping more singing from Mike
    lyrics with more depth
    more guitar and dj solos
    longer tracks
    and so on...
Also if Chester can play guitar, him and Brad could come up with somthing interesting?

whatever LP create it will rock!

    1 longer album
2 a song like dedicated where only mike is rapping
3 one song that is not meant serious (maybe full version of wizard song :p )
    4 better riffs and bass

most of you say less rapping from Mike, but that is the sound of LP. If you take away the rapping they would be like Evanescence :(
