Now I know some of you may think of this Show/Game a little chilidish, but I love it... I have been watching the show for the longest time now and I just finished making my deck (for now) for playing and maybe entering a tournament sooner or later if I get good. My favorite character in the show as of now is Marik, I love that name lol, he is just so cool. Anyway... Oh, God. Yu-gi-oh, eh? I find Yu-gi-oh to be a advanced version of Pokemon. I don't like the card game. I find it to be boring. I hate how so many freshmen stop being eachother's friends because of something relating to the game. Idiots. The show is quite entertaining, though. I do watch it. I think Joey is cool, so you can say he is my favorite character. Yu-gi-oh freaks me out. The schizo. I like the blue eyes white dragon the most. The show lacks sex scence, though. Mwuahaha. ;D What I really don't like about the show is how this card game seems to be the solution to everything. It's like, one guy goes "I'm going to rule the world" and so another goes.. "Not if I can help it ! LETS DUEL !"... It's like... so weird.... lol
Their faces make me laugh, that's the only thing I like it for. That one guys eyes are HUGE. They look half cartoony and half uh.. 'graphics-ish'. If that even makes sense.
i used to play the game but stoped on acount of the fact that so many kids were getting into the game and started warping the rules to match the tv show :wth: i play magic now and then so i didnt give up on card games. but no realy the show was so lame and trashy, the unedited Japanese stuff i hear is pretty good
Yu-Gi-Oh! is a show about a boy who needs to hit puberty, so he plays cards that somehow make him hit puberty. But once he's done playing cards, he reverts back to non-pubescentness.
I agree I collect the cards but I don't battle it's pointless and boring I just collect them because some cards look cool.
i dont play the card game but i watch the show. but after reading some of the actual Yu-Gi-Oh manga (japanese comics) i realized how much they really did edit it for english tv. They completely disneyfied it. for people who like Yu-Gi-Oh i strongly suggest you hunt down either the original japanese anime or the manga because they are way better than the english show.

This thread shows how YOUNG everyone is here!!! In out high school, there is a Yu-Gi-Oh club where all the nerds go to play...definately not appealing for me I understand elementary school kids playing it, I even had some pokemon cards back in the 'day'....but those things are just fads, when you get older you just grow out of them so I suggest you don't spend to much on them!
