Linkin Park's Fifth Studio Album Release Date(Including first album Single).

So I know they're no where near the release date. Lets have some fun predicting when lp will release it.

My prediction first Single in early May, album release late May.

 

Maybe in March, like Meteora.

 

My prediction is:

First Single - Jan/Feb 2013
Album -April 2013.

First single "The Naughty 8" will be released on August 8th, 2012. New album "Life Is Like A Dynasty" to be released September 9th, 2012.


If this does not happen, my subconscious lied to me and caused me to be late for school. XD

Second Single: May 2012
Album: June 2012

 

Random thought: I wonder what it was like on Guns 'N Roses fan sites when Chinese Democracy was in works : D

Anyway, back to topic. As I said many times before, late 2012 it is...maybe early 2013.

5th album: May 22nd (U.S.)

Would they start touring before the single is released ?

 

wouldnt it make more sense for them to release the album before RAR/RIP? I mean, they come back the first time since 2007, so I think there must be a good reason for it. I don't think it would be clever to come back to the festival without new material. So I think Ben might be right.

 

Would really like to say that we're getting a new album before Rock am Ring, but I am a little skeptical. I think we'll have a "Qwerty" during the show, but I'm not expecting any album until late Fall / Winter of 2012 at the earliest. Just too much to get done (i.e. the lack of studio updates on Mike's blog, etc.) and history has a way of repeating itself. However, I guess you could say with Mike blogging less, he is working on new material more, but the band usually gives more concrete evidence that new material is on its way.

The band has actually had loads of time in the studio. They were there for about two months after the North American tour leg and have seemingly been there since the last Asia show in September. On top of that they have apparently done a lot of work on the road. Not saying it's a done deal that we'll get something before June, but it's certainly possible.
