Hello everyone! With the release of LIVING THINGS, I will updated this thread to Top 15! I joined LPA during the puzzle era and I want to know what is your Top 15 Favourite Linkin Park songs! For me it is: 1 - Breaking The Habit This song will always be number one in my heart because I too had a bad childhood. The way it is sung live just tops it for me as well, it is full of raw emotions. (My favourite off Hybrid Theory) 2 - Crawling I love the pure voice in the verse and strong heavy sound in the chorus. To me, this song is alot about expectations, confrontation and harsh reality. 3- Road's Untraveled This song to me is extremely poetic! Many people cried listening to this song and everyone who's had a bad love experience can relate to it. :') (My favourite off Living Things) 4 - Valentine's Day I like the way it is sung and the drums. It's a sad song about coping with loss and regret, which I dealt with in certain years of my life. (My favourite off Minutes to Midnight) 5 - Papercut I really like this song because it is perfect sync between Mike and Chester. I love the depressing "The sun goes down, I feel the light betray me" part. 6 - Enth E Nd This remix is just.... *Speechless* One of the better songs off Reanimation that is not draggy or effected largely. 7 - Castle of Glass The intro preps you up for what's to come, like a journey! It totally can be a game soundtrack~! The first verse is like a hero singing and the chorus is just awesome! 8 - In Between This song is just downright honest and sad. 9 - Victimised Aside from the Adele and Jay-Z features, it's an awesome anthem! 10 - Faint High tension and realistic rap verses. Love the screaming too. A good stress relieve song to sing when you just want to let it out. 11 - The Messenger It's a very sweet song. I think it's about knowing we always have a home no matter what we may face outside. 12 - The Little Things Give You Away Six and a half minute of perfection. 13 - Across The Line A very awesome song released through the LP Underground fan club. 14 - Hit The Floor I love this song especially when I am walking to a place or just window shopping. Such a hard hitting angry song! 15 - My December Another depressing song. To me it's about doing things against your will but because you need the warmth and attention that's why you do it. I had a hard time ranking these and had to cut out songs like Numb or Leave Out All The Rest. Making this list really allowed me to give a hard look on all of Linkin Park's work and sift out which songs really come through to me and which songs are just "Yeah, I like it." Songs that will never make my list: Runaway, A Place for my Head, Pushing me Away, Somewhere I belong, Given Up, What I've Done, No More Sorrow, When They Come For Me and Wretches and Kings. From LT: In My Remains (Not a fan of rhymes and the chorus gets annoying after the 2nd play), I'll Be Gone (The chorus is Dead By Sunrise come again) and Skin to Bone (My mother of god...) Top 15 is not as straightforward as a Top 3, what is your take?

YES!! Permanent #1 will always be Breaking The Habit! Glad I'm not the only one who!! I see you have In Between in there, it's a really good song from Mike. I wanted to include The Catalyst but my list is probably more personal and less sound wise.

Haha, yea Top 10 is harder to do than a Top 3 but it really shows I can see you prefer the heavier side of LP
They're the ones I extensively listen to. It's difficult for me to develop a list that features many extensive by looking at the details. Those are the songs I really admire. I don't think they're that heavy - heavy are songs from HT like APFMH and Forgotten and songs from Meteora like "Don't Stay". I tried to find a spot for "Breaking the Habit" though.
Ah I see. Btw, anyone listened to Breaking The Habit studio version acapella before? Oh god, it sounds horrible because the vocals are a bit effected and on it's own sounds really bad.
