What Is the LPA Monthly Mix-Up?
LPA Monthly Mix-Up is an ambitious concept intended to showcase the massive amount of musical talent currently unheard among the Linkin Park fan community. Every month, we will be challenging fans to compete and show off their musical skills, using any and all tools available to them to create their entry. At the conclusion of each competition period, our staff will then go through each entry submitted, and pick our absolute favorite to be featured on the site as the "Winner Of The Month". To promote fairness, runner ups will also be shown, but only one lucky Linkin Park fan will walk away with the honor of being featured as the "Monthly Winner". Now that we have that out of the way view this month's theme below.

Our official theme for the month of October 2014 is:

    All For Nothing Free-For-All

This month, we are challenging you to remix the second track from The Hunting Party, "All For Nothing," in another Free-For-All setting. What does this mean exactly? Well, anything goes, as long as "All For Nothing" is used in your submission. Remixes, mash-ups and covers are all welcome this month. So what you waitin' for? Step to it like one, two, three, four!

Deadline is October 31st, 2014 11:59 PM PST.

    Good luck.

If I enter, I hope I win, otherwise it'll have been all for nothing.

Oh, so it looks like we'll be doing it track by track each month? I assume we're skipping GATS since it's been done though.

The timing of the vocals is completely off. But did you make that instrumental? Because it's really beautiful.

Yeah it's completly off, and yeah i made the instrumental. Why is it completly off? Cause the vocals bpm is 80, and the instrumental has 120 bpm.

That's why. Make the instrumental 80 bpm or bpm or make the vocal 120. The bpm has to match.

    Totally entering this.

Or if you wanna play fast and loose, you could probably make the instrumental 160 BPM! So long as it's a multiple of 80 I guess it'd fit?

I have a doubt,Should we include the graphic as part of the artwork or the artwork should be the graphic itself?

In terms of timing, yes, but, obviously, that's not the only thing that you need to consider when making that choice. :)

Either, but, in the former case, it needs to be clear and prominent. :)

Every SoundCloud upload has a nine-digit identifier that can be found in the embed code. The number for this one is "170302928"; you place that between

I hate when that happens. Audacity has done that to me too. Everything sounds great and you get the MP3 and you're like "WTF IS THAT!?"
