Crawling is the second single from Linkin Park's debut album Hybrid Theory. The track peaked at #74 on The Billboard Top 100 and reached its highest chart accolade at #4 in The Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks. Crawling was more widely received than debut single One Step Closer and propelled the band into the mainstream even more so. The song has no definite meaning but has been interpreted as relating to lead vocalists Chester Bennington's past with substance abuse. A demo also exists of the song Crawling, which features a different arrangement and alternate lyrics by emcee Mike Shinoda.

This CD single also features bonus multimedia content, which shows uncensored footage from the bands first official DVD "Frat Party at the Pancake Festival".
