A Thousand Suns Leaked

I am going to ask that you become a VIP. You have suffered for 3 days and survived that whole time.
I am serious dude...I don't think it will happen but I will try. It would be a miracle.

 

After 20 listens, here goes:

The Requiem: Boring, time to press skip.

The Radiance: Nice, short, powerful, like those background effects.

Burning in the Skies: Horrible, lack of a real chorus, the guitar sort of saves it in the end.

Empty Sapces: -

When they come for me: Nice track, love the ending.

Robot Boy: !!!???

Jornada del Muerto: Meh

Waiting for the End: At this point, Linkin Park sounds ridiculous.

Blackout: This song grew off me after 3-4 listens. Why do the endings of all these softer tracks sound so depressing?

Wretches & Kings: Good individual track, no flow with the rest of the album. I don't think it sounds like something off HT/Meteora/Fort Minor though.

Wisdom, Justice & Love: Best interlude.

Iridescent: Now what the hell was this all about??? :-(

Fallout: Amazing interlude/intro to......

The Catalyst: Best song on the record, which is ironic because when it was released as a single I hoped it would be the worst track on the album.

The Messenger: What was Chester thinking?

I don't know what the definition of 'Linkin Park' is now. The only praise I can bestow upon this album is that it makes me like MtM a little bit, at least that sounded a bit like LP!

 

Just bought my cd/dvd now and this is my short little review after 1 listen (I succeed for the waiting!):

The Requiem: Singing is nice, good intro

The Radiance: meh.. but I really love the transition to Burning in the skies.

Burning In The Skies: 7.5/10 Good chorus/melody but it didn't blew me away.

Empty Spaces: euh..?

When They Come for me: 9/10 Motherfucking good

Robot Boy: 4/10 Almost fell asleep, kinda boring, but I like the outro..

Jornada del Muerto: Better then Robot Boy but not much to say about this

Waiting for the End: 7/10 This one I listened before, I like it more now I listened it at the album, to soft for me but It has his good parts.

Blackout: 10/10 Much better then espected! Weird song but love it! Really awesome and unpredictable!

Wretches & Kings: 9/10 Goooooooooooooooooood!!!!

Wisdom, Justice & Love: Boring but the end is ok

Iridescent: 11/10 Absolutely awesome! My favorite song!

Fallout: another interlude..

The Catalyst: 7/10 Good choice for the first single but I actually don't like it to much..

The Messenger: 7/10 Yeah it's oke..


A Thousand Suns: 8.5/10 Better then MTM! It's a real journey with the interludes, but it's to many interludes.
The art is also very nice, but I can't read the lyrics mostly..

I'm actually having to force myself to listen to other stuff, so that ATS doesn't get old quick (not that it will). God, this album is GOOD!

 

I'm not scared to go below an 8 rating at all.

Meteora: 1/10.

 

Meteora? Taking the time to rate it at all would be a waste since it's so awful. I mean, LP wth? Why why why why did you make that album? Easier to Run has dope drumming and that's the only good thing I really have to say about it.

 

pretty surprised..u didn't like robot boy or journada..but loved iridescent..??..!!
those two rock..specailly the ending of journada to robot boy...

but its ur opinion...

I was just reading some reviews online. No one seems to think it's an okay album, reviewers either love it or bash it saying it's utter shit.
