Andy Wallace Mixing New Linkin Park Album?

As much as I love the change in LP's musical direction, I have to agree with this. It's like the band sorta tends to get stuck in repetition mode every 2 albums or so on how they go about making those respective albums.
So this change in pattern, for this album, makes it seem more fresh.

 

Great news! every little new thing (regarding the album) that pops up lately, makes me feel more and more that this album is what we've all been waiting for. You know, "Something bold and energetic. Something with a balance between the chaos and order."

 

TBH I don't care what LP release anymore. Once the quality is good and doesn't sound forced or watered down. As long as they experiment with new stuff I'm happy.

I knew this day would come after all the experimenting on MTM and ATS.

 

Though it is too early to tell, I feel like this may be Linkin Park's best album, ever. Everything their doing on this new record is what I wanted from them.

 

This is off topic well kind of but do you think There will be a new song in the Ninja turtles movie as well as TF4
since both are coming out in the summer and since Bay is directing both? So maybe Bay would want a LP song
in Ninja turtles also.

Will they be making songs specifically for TF4 and (possibly) Ninja Turtles or just take singles from their album? Cause I'd love two brand new songs (as long as it doesn't hamper their progress on LP6 too much).

 

I'd be fine with that as long as it's not an exact duplicate of A Light That Never Comes.

 

Turtles is supposed to be goofy. LP is dark. They don't mix well. I hope Bay knows that, even though he's a producer and not the director.

Transformers has more of a leash in this regard.

 

Andy Wallace?....As long as this album sounds like it has some fucking bass.

 

I think TF4 will have the LP/aoki song, and Turtles will have 1 or 2 songs from LP6 maybe as part of the soundtrack

 

What they need to do is get Vanilla Ice back for Turtles. :nokappa:

That link to december that has been posted in this thread a few times said they were working on a song for a movie back then, when ALTNC came out in summer. Plus Aoki was back in studio with LP for a while. Looks like the TF4 song will be that collab, unless Bay/Paramount likes a song from LP6 better.

 

So, The Mall OST, TF4 (?) and LP6 might just be around the corner.

be the biggest year for LP
