Superb song.

It is refreshing to hear Mike rap with an unparalleled intensity and Chester to scream his heart out in a hypnotic frenzy.

It sounds like a mash up of Faint/Blackout/Wretches & Kings.

So glad I pre-ordered.

I'm listening to the FLAC version a couple (100) more times today at work and it gets better with every listen I must say.

Also, I think LIES GREED MISERY will have an even stronger impact because of its placement in the track listing. Having the big intro of LOST IN THE ECHO and what sounds to be like a more serious and dark IN MY REMAINS, followed by BURN IT DOWN and then BAM! LIES GREED MISERY right in the face.

 

Firstly, on an iPad and mobile I can't download this. Fail. When I first heard this, I was not overly impressed. It reminded me of the first time I heard W&K . I hated W&K. Hated it. However, it's now a tune I adore. So knowing this, I listened to this over and over again on the web link in the browser. Even on an iPad with my skullcandy headphones, this song has me ridiculously excited. The hidden undertones, the dubstep loops that repeat over again, the 4 stage drum repeating over and over to form the harsh angry beat is incredible. I sit here at 321 Am in Australia absolutely hammered from a heavy night out, and this song has just sent me into a mad frenzy. I need this on my iPod!

 

Don't forget that LOST IN THE ECHO is more than just an intro. Myspace reviewers used the word "Epic".
Due to this epicness, putting three headbangers in your comment is the least you could do.

 

I typically don't have any expectations or criteria for how I think a band should sound. So I'm not disappointed with these new songs for that reason. I am disappointed with them because they're rehashing a songwriting approach & lyrical content that didn't have much to offer in the first place and that they had exhausted 10 years ago. That's what I hear in LGM (and BID), stereotypical LP just with heavy synth subbed in for heavy guitars but, somehow, emptier.

Boring.
