I'm gonna lower my standards for that song, so much that I will "actually explode" upon listening to it. Or at least slap myself.
Like in what way? Is it is a soft song or does it still keep the energy? You said UIG is the softest song right?
Just heard the song... OH MY GOD. I thought it sounded awesome live, but what makes this song stand out is all the little chirping sounds and other electronics buried inside. Right now, it's potentially within my top 5 Linkin Park songs. I'll see how I feel about it as I listen to it more and more. But seriously, Wastelands chops up and eats UIG and GATS for breakfast.
Imagine the structure of Wastelands, except instead of the poppy Wastelands chorus it's Chester screaming all he has got for the choruses. Also, it's just a heavier song in general.
Ah that sounds awesome! As long as it still has energy and/or is heavy Im happy Although I wouldnt mind a slow song, I hope this album just goes all out with a bang! We have time for slower music when the band gets older and Chester cant scream as well
Turtleguy, since you're answering questions, do you happen to remember any standout guitar moments? A favorite solo or anything?
When people use Victimized as the benchmark for LP's heaviest song, they are referring to the final 20 seconds only right?
Alright, sounds good Thanks for answering I never said it was their heaviest. I just used it as an example. It is one of their heaviest. Id say QWERTY/Given Up/Victimized are their heaviest.
