I agree with that one as well. I believe that music should explain it's veiws on other things rather than just god. I don't wanna hear about that, I wanna hear something with meaning lol. Not to mention I can't stand Switchfoot at the moment..
I dont like them either... and for some reason, I dont like the mainstream bands girls at our school listen to, I dont know why, it just drives me insane.
I hate that tv-"superstar"-"idol"-people/-groups, they are all the same!! :argh: it's so gross how much people join these shows and want to be a "star". I mean in less than a half year no one will know about them anymore, and until then it's all the same stuff you have to do: singing songs you didn't write (and often don't even know what they're about), making videos in which you wear way too less clothes, then singing this songs in this clothes in schools (coz your fans are only 11-year-old girls with horse-sweaters, pink jeans and horrible hair styles [coz they're so easy to be influenced]) or tv-shows (of course playback), going to those "I'm a celebrity - get me outta here"-shows because you don't get the attention (and money) you (better: your record label) wanted or hoped to get. then the record label fires you and searches for a new victim... but that's of course not the end of your story: after a year or two you think "I wish I was still (or again? or at all?) famous" and then you go to those "comback"-tv-shows, where you have to fight (but they call it sing) against other "superstars" who also want to be famous again... well done... but at least you have something to tell your kids ...

The only one who's claiming that they're punk is you. Give me a quote where one of the guys actually said that. As for my list? Look at my sig.

The Hives Simple Plan Maroon 5 Yellowcard The Strokes Franz Ferdinand The Darkness Good Charlotte Jet The Vines Sum 41 Radiohead Smile Empty Soul Coldplay Yeah Yeah Yeahs Nickelback The Rasmus ...
Hmmm...I might get a few frowns from my list. Bring it on, beeches =P -- Good Charlotte: In my opinion are just complete and utter trash. Go easy on the make-up and hair gel and bandwagon-jumping. Please. -- Nickelback: Haha. Chad Kroeger still looks like a certain religious figure. -- The Rasmus: Feathers = No. -- The Strokes: I don't really know why. I'm just not so keen on them. -- Ja Rule: Ugh. A voice like nails on a chalkboard. Can't be bothered to sing a song on his own. -- 50 Cent: Same. Near enough. -- Busted: Bollocks. -- McFly: [See above] That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there are more =P
check this out... this is why i hate ja rule Ja Rule was hit with a lawsuit yesterday for allegedly filming an episode of MTV's "Cribs" in a Miami mansion that he had rented for the weekend and passed off as his own. The owner says she didn't give permission for her home to be filmed. She also alleges that the rapper held a party with 600 guests and damaged her home.
Not going to list bands or something. I hate poppymusic, hardcore (like YUCK), and that death-metal-woman-screaming music, or however it's called.
