Phoenix didn't give me that, so I'm not sure.

Back in the 1940/1960's however, the singers used to record their parts while a live orchestra would play behind them. It's actually how Frank Sinatra recorded some of his greatest hits.

So while I do believe the band might've done vocals at the same time as the instruments, everything was probably recorded separate so it could be fixed up later. Mike and Chester were probably re-recording parts they felt were weak.

    That's a really cool fact..:D
Yeah.. now what you said makes more sense about the recordings parts...
Anyways, cool news! And let's hope it is March

They said there were going to be a lot of tracks on the album, too, right?

I'm really hoping we get some information just flying out here in a few weeks.

Most sources are suggesting at least 16-17 tracks, which includes 2 or 3 interludes or instrumentals depending on what the band decides.

Even if 2 tracks are interludes/instrumentals, thats still more tracks and more music than we've ever had on an LP record, excluding Reanimation.

Oh my God, why must people keep relying on what Wikipedia says? It's really not a credible site since you can edit and put anything you want there.

Which means the song might have Greek influences which would be...highly interesting to say the least,

Well, we've already seen the japanese flute thingy, ie. Nobody's Listening, so its not a bad theory that they'll use a sample of some traditional greek instrument, whatever they might be.
