Oh God those lyrics are cheesy . The rest of the song is pretty good though.

I'm very surprised, it wasn't a complete load of shit. The transition from The Poison to this wasn't anywhere near as bad as it was from Ascendancy to The Crusade. Overall it's a decent album, and I was pleasantly surprised. Favourite pick at the moment is Waking The Demon.

It's growing on me. At the moment it's solid, basically. Definitely more consistent than their debut.

i love matt's screaming ... but it ruins what could be something more subtle. like, "say goodnight" could've done without the screaming. i know there isn't much screaming on the album altogether but, on some songs, it just feels overused. on the rest, it's frigging awesome -- "waking the demon" rocks. :)

this album is a little less mainstream to me and matt sounds more like hetfield all the time, but he's not trying too hard. he does, i think, sound different to how he did on "the poison", nonetheless.

best part of this album is the drumming. can't exactly say much there but it's my opinion.

I like it so far, haven't listened to it much though. Weakest album of the year so far, shows how awesome this year is at the moment.
