Not Alone is such a beautiful song man! I especially like this synth in the bridge.

Robot Boy is one of my favourite songs. It's lyrics are reassuring and uplifting. The synth craziness at the end is amazing too.

Agreed! I love Not Alone! Should have been a MTM Bonus track!

I like all LP songs except Robot Boy and Unit It Breaks

    Yes, I do like ALTNC

No, it should have never come. But the song was already made before the earthquake. It was just finished or tweaked before they release it when that happened. It was made during MTM era before MTM came out.

Im sure you knew that though :dno:

To clarify what's being said here, "Not Alone" was a demo created during the "Midnight" sessions but, then, it was revised - complete with new lyrics - for "Download To Donate".

Yeah, you put it in good words. I'm only a good writer when I actually put fourth effort

My personal favorite line in any Linkin Park song is "Hold on, it's not where it goes, but where it can lead you to." Even if, grammatically speaking, that second 'where' should be a 'what', but who cares?

This album could have been a full on poppy trendy album. LP would have turned themselves to something corporate agencies (Warner Bros) want them to be. I consider this video to be a sign of relief. There is no regret in their previous albums/ remix albums it just tells me that LP are glad they didn't go on a road that you can say is over rated. Obviously it was tempting to go down that road because financially it makes them better off. making more radio friendly songs means more ratings, then demand is high and judging by the consistency of them releasing albums they are more than able to fill that demand meaning that it could mean a double in profits. as good as it sounds the trade-off is that they are not as distinguished from other artists rather they are in actuality the same thing. We should be very glad this isn't the case and that LP are continuing to make innovative music which in my opinion is what LP is. If LP did turn into a radio friendly, trendy poppy band then i would happily say R.I.P LP.

aren't we glad that this isn't the case :)

Why do people read things like this into the band's decisions?

Yeah especially when there's no proof that going full EDM would've done anything for the band's record sales. Just because EDM is 'trendy' doesn't mean that making a dance track will equal a top ten hit.
