They always say 1 or 2 songs are tuned down I think they are talking about Until It's Gone and A Line In the Sand
I don't think they actually toned down songs. I like to believe that's how UIG was originally (maybe not though). I also feel like ALITS will be softer but I think they probably intended it to be that way
I wonder what song they will use if there's a third part. Maybe we get a new instrumental from the album? I don't think so btw. Just curious. Would they use GATS or UIG again or even an old song? Hem. Imma be the carnivore in this charts Sayin' that I soften I was duckin' down to hunt (switching perspective to fan) So you can save your petty explanations I don't have the patience Before you even say it I know VISCERAL / VISCERAL / EVERY TIME VISCERAL VISCERAL / VISCERAL / EVERY TIME VISCERAAAAAAAAAAL History repeating.
I like how Chester admits they could write a thousand Irridescent. I mean, yeah ATS had some really great and unique moments, but it's not like the entire record was totally out-of-the-blue. It always makes me cringe when people act like the full album displays such ambitious songwriting in regard to their past work. Irridescent in particular was just a standard arena rock anthem, and nowhere near an experimental track. Not to say it was a bad one though.
It's the only LP album I can listen all the way through without skipping songs because even the more "basic" songs don't feature a standard structure or horrible/overly simplistic musicianship.
I feel like I'm the oddball out. I can listen to every LP album front to Back. I'm not a big fan of UIB but I can still listen to it. And I don't hate it as much anymore. I'm probably one of the few here though that can listen to all their albums front to back. Opinions, man. I think UIG is one of the eat songs they've ever released personally
And to carry on with the point I made above, I have to respectfully disagree with this. I really think the song is nothing spectacular, and just a decent ballad. I'd probably like it more if those those awfully cliché gangvocals hadn't been included in it... In most of the cases, gangvocals + arena rock just sounds cheesy to me.
