It looks like the multi-talented Chester Bennington could add another title to his resume: Actor. Chester has a guest spot in the new movie "Crank", which features the likes of Jason Statham (The Transporter, Snatch), Amy Smart (Starsky & Hutch, Just Friends), and Dwight Yoakam (Panic Room, Wedding Crashers). The movie is about a hitman named Chev (Statham), who learns that poison injected into his body will kill him if his heart rate drops below a certain point. (Think of it as Speed without the bus.) A screengrab from the film depicts Chester's character in a tense staredown with the film's hitman. I have a feeling that the only battle Chester would be winning against the hitman would be a karaoke contest, so things could get precarious for him. It's likely to be a small part, considering the Internet Movie Database (iMDB) doesn't even credit him with a part in the movie. But judging by the still, you can bet he'll have a speaking role. Well, it's said Chester started out as an actor anyway, so this should be heaven for him. Let's hope he does have a speaking role, even if it is a little one.
*crosses fingers and hopes this doesn't invite 048034840 teenies* Ah well, ever since same direction he's been begging for a silverscreen debut.
That's pretty cool. Seems like a mediocre movie but any kind of role is good for your debut if it fits your personality as a musician. Which I think this role will be.
Are you kidding me? I love the plot. And almost anything Jason Statham touches turns to gold, aside from Transporter 2.
Well, I guess I'm not into those action movie plots with car chances or exploding trains/buildings/cars/people/bikes/cte It's a shame, though. Jean Claude Van Damme could've been my home country hero.
Or getting kicked but Statham while he's skating on bicycle pedals on an oily surface. (for those who saw Transportar.)
I have a feeling Chester will shock us and be really good for the part. Hopefully he has some kungfu action with Mr. Statham.
Don't I recall Chester once saying, and I quote, "I'm a singer, not an actor." Anyone else remember this to?
even though i'm not gay,i'd definitely saY that chester looks hot.My girlfriend agrees too.i admire his bespectacled look.he'll make a good actor i believe
It looks like he'll be in line or something and he gets pushed out of the way. Like one of the comic relief scenes. [Chester get's pushed aside] Chester: HEY BUDDY I WAS IN LINE! Something like that.
wow this is cool i never thought any member of linkin park would participate in a movie..i have been proved wrong once again..oh well this movie should rock
Heh, oh no no no, I just remember someone interviewing Chester and he mentioned about how he was in the drama class in high school and wanted to be an actor and such.
