Honestly, I hate it. I've never understood why people like remixes or music that is so heavily distorted there's hardly even a beat, let alone rhythm.

 

I hear a beat and a rhythm, so I'll respectful disagree. It's all taste. You could say that about some of Trent Reznor's music also. I love pretty much everything the Glitch Mob does.

 

I never said there wasn't one. I said there's hardly one, because it fights so much with the song that they're going in two opposite directions.

I dislike the preview as well. But we'll have to wait for the whole thing to judge.

 

It's glitch. Everything is a part of the beat. It's not 'hardly' there, it's very easily discernable.

Listen to a song like this from edIT, one of the members of Glitch Mob. The glitched beat is easily heard, and once you recognize the beat there it's really easy to hear the beat in this remix.

Also, the distortion could be the quality of the preview, not the actual song.

 

Again, I fully recognize the beat. I just feel it fights with the rhythm of the actual song (specifically the vocals). Plain and simple, I just don't like what I heard. This could change with the full song -- we'll see.
