Is it me, or did the foreleg size seem to vary? Because when it was getting shot at, and the people were running into the subway, or whatever it was, the legs were long. But when the thing got hit by that one explosion when everyon is in the copter, the foreleg went up and hit like on the 40th floor of the one building. Looked like Stretch Fuckin' Armstrong.
Maybe this will clear things up for you. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k84/NtrMssion/cloverfieldsketchresize.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k84/NtrMssion/CLOVERFIELD2.jpg
The sequel to Cloverfield is confirmed for an 2009 release. http://www.cinematical.com/2008/01/31/its-official-cloverfield-2-is-coming/
That S.O.B. can jump though. The copter was pretty high up, given the size of the building it hit, and it made that jump? Damn, that must be some serious leg power.
I have one thing to say to that picture: "You are one ugly motherfucker." It does look incredibly realistic though. If that thing was real. And apparently, don't know if it's been discussed or not, Cloverfield is supposed to incorporate the Bloop in some form or another.
Sounds recorded near where H.P. Lovecraft said Cthulhu was. 1997 was the year, and the U.S. military recorded it at two different stations almost 5000 miles away. I think it was 5000. It's on youtube if you want to hear it, and I have a .wave file of it. I also sped it up, and it sounds like Chester or Mike's scream at the end of Session. Vaguely.
The thing would have to be HUGE to make that noise. Bigger than a blue whale. Which scares the shit out of me, considering it has an organic signature. And, it's been determined that it is NOT the sound that any discovered creature makes, and it's not made by any creature using a cave, etc. to magnify it's "voice". So, we might very well have a real Clovie on our hands. Let's just hope it's not an amphibian.
Source? Really I'd be glad to have the Bloop involved mostly because I get sick and tired of hearing H.P. Lovecraft fans claiming it to be 'their sound.' Or rather, that's what they do around here.
