Fucking shit that is one hell of a song. I seriously can't wait to hear the rest of the album now.

Both the released songs seem to have a religiously-inspired war element.

    Coincidence?

Yeah but these two songs alone have better lyrics than the whole "X&Y" imo

I don't think so, I think that the whole album will have some kind of what it's like like in times of war/religious theme to it but I could be wrong.

But here is an example as to why I think that.

When I hear/read these lines it always makes me imagine a solider crouched on a rooftop with a riffle in his hand, while it's snowing outside, looking at the enemies watching him and his companions on that rooftop, and they begin to think of what the future has to offer, will people start to get along or become just more idiots blinded by war that want to show who can come out on top.

But that's just my interpretation for that part of the song, I don't think it fits with the rest of the song really.

I was actually thinking of the priests clutching bibles with rifles, etc. bit.

But that part works too.

Oh, and 'Life in Technicolor' is out for anyone interested. I'm going to wait though, since there's only 10 tracks on this one.

97 U.S$ just to see Cold Play? Hell no. I mean, they're good but not good enough for me to spend that much money on.

Wow, that's insane. I can't imagine paying that much, unless it was for an intimate venue.

    How much is P:R?

PR last year was less than 55 if I remember right, and you got more than 8 hours of music.

I didn't get the tickets when they went on sale because I didn't like the lineup. I regret that now, but I'll see the band when they come around next time.

Linkin Park isn't going on a break for THAT long lol. They already said they'd begin work on a new album really soon. It's likely (in my opinion) that they will take a short break after PR, do a South American tour (it's rumored) and then start a Winter 2008 Tour that goes into 2009, after which Chester will release the DBS record and tour with that for a little while, then going with Linkin Park into the studio to work on a new record for release sometime towards late 2009/early 2010.

Even Chester said they don't plan to make people wait 4 years anymore for a record and that the turn around should be quicker.

True. But that's what they said with Reanimation. And Meteora. And Minutes to Midnight lmao.

    Here's to hoping though.

Oh yeah, and my school is out, so we should start getting to work on a new design, yah?
