VIP is accomplished via donation or if you're a piece of LPA history (former staff member who's stepped down, someone who contributed something big but non-monetary to the site etc).

Congrats on going to the show!!! I can see how special it was for the band, Chester, and all in attendance. Must've been magical. So jealous right now

Oh good I'm so happy for Chester, I'm glad this show went so well, I'm really pleased for the guy. I mean that's basically living out your childhood dream, and not many people ever get to do that. I know Chester can deliver anytime but I'm glad he did, so perfectly in such a make or brake moment.

Enjoy it Chester, you deserve it.

EDIT: Yes I'm kinda jealous about the whole living out your childhood dream thing......

Guess what! Got some videos from the Atlantic City show coming! Keep an eye out on this thread. Here's "Big Empty":

To be honest, seeing Chester up there giving two very solid performances like this, and just completely owning the stage reminded me and reiterated why I'm such a huge fan of him musically. It's made me more excited than ever to hear his future work not just with STP but LP as well, and I'm so glad I worked it out to go to two shows. He's a legend.

Chester sounds very, very good. His motor simply never stops.

Do you guys think his voice is best suited for a straight up rock band like STP? .. Compared to Linkin Park?

Based on the YouTube videos that I've seen, I definitely think that he seems more at home singing with acts like Stone Temple Pilots and Camp Freddy than Linkin Park, yes.

Could also be that Linkin Park is his "main job" and playing for rock acts must be a fun break from that.

Could it also be that he doesn't have to scream on STP songs? Less strain into the vocal chords during a performance.

    Just my 2 cents.

I think that everyone's opinion on this would be equally valid

A couple of my reporters went to the gig in Sayreville a few nights ago and did a video review including a few fans interviews with STP/Linkin Park fans. One of my reporters is a longtime Linkin Park hater but Chester won him over with the performance! http://www.alternativenation.net/?p=33513

Cool video. Although I have to laugh at how bad the guy hates Linkin Park. I mean what the hell did they ever do to him besides be very mainstream and famous?
