whenever i post on a thread i get an error saying : Database Error but when i refresh the page the comment is there. EDIT: the same happened when i posted this thread.
...but yes, this has been happening to me too. Also happens when editing posts. We've had this problem before and should be fixed really soon. Until then just refresh the page as your post has been posted, it just says it hasn't.
From our research it appears as if the Search Database got corrupted. Unfortunately vB treats things like this as a fatal error, and thus it is keeping the other databases (page counts, replies etc) from being updated which is why you keep getting errors when you post. We hope to have the search database rebuilt and fixed by tonight which we think should fix the problem. Till then, please just bear with us.
