Those are all music videos that have members of LP in them. They aren't actually in the songs. The Way You Like It features Chester, Joe, and Jake (LP's security guy) at the end, Fesitval Song by GC has a shot or two of Chester backstage in it, and Same Direction has Chester in it as one of the three auditioning singers for Hoobastank (part of the video's storyline). I haven't actually seen Endure by Nonpoint, but I think that's the one that has a shot of Mike playing guitar in a bar band with a couple of Deftones members?
I've got #3 Super Xero Demo. But no #2 A Place for My Head (Esaul) yet.... Such a question - what official instrumentals do LP have? And Fort Minor also....
Official LP instrumentals: It's Goin' Down H! Vltg3 Frgt/10 Enth e Nd Numb/Encore As well as partial instrumentals of a few songs like Krwlng and Breaking the Habit. Fort Minor's entire The Rising Tied album is available in instrumental (including Be Somebody, There They Go, and The Hard Way, but not including Introduction or The Battle). For acapellas, there's an acapella of H! Vltg3 and Numb/Encore from LP, plus a scratch acapella of It's Goin' Down (DJ parts with no other music or vocals). For FM there's acapellas of Remember the Name and Petrified.
"linkin park vs. david banner" is a mash-up done by roc raida & DJ vlad for the "rock phenomenon" mixtape dropped last year. it's basically "papercut" with "like a pimp". mike "hosted" the mixtape. he did a couple of intermissions and that's it. fort minor has only 4 officially released instrumentals; those of the 4 singles released thus far: "petrified" and "remember the name" (released via the vinyl), "believe me" and "where'd you go".
Tell me please something more about those tracks for MTV, that Mike did. Are they long, whole songs, or just a few seconds tracks? Thanks
They're all instrumentals, and they're all from about 45 seconds to a little over a minute long. 100 Degrees wound up a full song on the FM mixtape, nothing with the other 4 though.
Can you tell me this thing: There They Go (Green Lantern Remix) according to lyrics on your website, starts with [Intro - Mike & Lantern] Who is it? Mine version starts directly with Machine Shop! And the last [Outro - Sixx John] Totally ridiculous, How sick is this? - he says something other like "You'll Se him" Also in The Hard Way lyrics from the Rising Tied the last [Chorus - Kenna] starts with Deafenin voices, mine doesn't have deafenin in the beginning.
What about the info in lyrics tab on the website, which says: The studio version can be found in the video game "Greg Hasting's Tournament Paintball MAX'D" for XBox. How can you comment on this info?
It was supposed to be in the game, however nobody so far has confirmed if it actually is or not, or ripped it if it is. If you look on the official website for the game soundtrack, there's no mention of State of the Art anywhere, so it may have ended up being removed from the game.
Are you sure ,that there is no other vocals, 'cause I have I's Goin' Down scratchapella with some voices... Watch them flee Watch them flee Watch them flee Hip-hop heads And you do it like this Put it up And it goes like this And you do it like this X-men 'bout to blast off worldwide X-men 'bout to blast off worldwide And you do it like this 'Bout to blast off worldwide Put it up And it goes like this And you do it like this
Those are all DJ scratching parts, not vocals sung in the song. "Watch them flee, hip-hop heads" is sampled from Dedicated, "And you do it like this" is sampled from Step Up, and "Bout to blast off worldwide" is sampled from an Xzibit song called Year 2000. The rest are just things the 3 Xecturioners scratched over. The scratchapella consists of anything that a DJ would be in charge of doing when the song is played live, basically.
That's hilarious because I re-wrote that entire Linkin Park article one day. 90% of that article is my work.
That 9-track demo CD include such tracks: 1. Untitled (In the End Demo) 2. Points & Authority (Points of Authority Demo) 3. Super Zero (By Myself Demo) 4. Crawling (Crawling Demo) 5. Carousel 6. Part of Me 7. And One 8. Rhinestone (Forgotten Demo) 9. Esaul (A Place for my Head Demo) Questions: Points & Authority - which one of Points of Authority demos is this one? And One - is this the same version as on the Hybrid Theory EP? Rhinestone - is this the version of Xero song, or it's changed?
Er, I believe And One IS the same as the one on the EP. Rhinestone is the Xero version, because there are only 3 versions of Forgotten (Forgotten, Forgotten (Demo w/Chester), Rhinestone (Demo w/Mark). P.O.A I am really not sure about, but if I were to guess I'd say it'd be the second one.
And One is the Hybrid Theory EP version, Rhinestone is NOT the Xero version (Xero version has Mark, this Hybrid Theory version has Chester), and the Points of Authority track is just a demo. No specific name other than "Demo 1" or "Demo 2".
Where are the Points Of Authorities Demo2 (the one which is NOT form 9-track demo cd) and Now I See demos from? Which songs were also on the old hybridtheory.com website, except Esaul and Super Xero?
The POA on the demo CD is the one with the "It's time to sink or swim" part in it. The other version, I'm actually not sure where it's from, probably a promo CD or the old website or mp3.com (The band put a few demos on there when they started out). Now I See is from an Ozzfest 2000 promo CD. The old website had Esaul, By Myself, Points of Authority, and With You on it, as far as I know.
Sorry for that misunderstanding, i meant the forgotten with chester was the one on the demo cd, i didn't know it was still called rhinestone at the time, so i figured it had to be the xero version. my bad.
