When this first came out I knew it would be a hit, Em is on top of his game, Dre...he just adds a good element, but the star here is producer Alex da Kid (airplanes, love the way you lie). Watch out for Lupe's song coming out on Tuesday, Alex produces it gonna be a hit

It could be worse, certainly in Eminem's case. And if that's Holly Brook, not that I was a fan of her before but it's nice that she seems to be doing relatively well for herself now.
I was convinced of that - the voice is unmistake - but the name 'Skylar Grey' came up when I first went looking for the singer on the Diddy single ... so, there, I thought I was wrong, but, then, I got this email from the Holly Brook mailing list: "Dear Friends and Fans, This letter is being sent to all of those who signed up for the Holly Brook email list in past years. Due to recent career changes, she will no longer be going by the name, Holly Brook. However, we encourage you to find her under her new artist name, Skylar Grey." And I was, like, "I fucking KNEW it!" ;D
Wow so it really is her?! Damn! I'm a fan of her music, especially the first album, which I think is pretty amazing. It was so sad to see her being all down and out soon after she got dropped out of Machine Shop. I'm glad to see her back on the scene again. I still hope she pursues her own music, instead of being labeled as "the chick who sings the hook on Alex Da Kid beats".
Skylar (Holly) definitely made the song. Eminem almost ruined it. Plus for something that is supposed to be Dre's album, he doesn't really have much vocal participation on this track.
I think it's fine. Though, I'm not paying attention to Em's lyrics and judging by these comments, they're pretty bad . I LOVE the chorus. Interesting that it's actually Holly Brook haha.
She looks so hot now. The re-invention is excellent. And also...Holly only sings in the intro of Coming Home.

AND she wrote I Love the Way You Lie Part I & II. I am really glad she's back doing music again. The first time I heard "Coming Home" I was like "WHO IS THAT!?" I was convinced it was a sample of another song. This song is meeeh. I love the concept but I'm tired of Em's yelling flow. It gives me a headache. He doesn't know how to be angry and menacing without yelling these days. Chorus is mint.
All this "Holly Brook is Skylar Grey" stuff is blowing my mind. In a way you could say Mike/Machine Shop discovered her. As for Eminem's lyrics, I like the meaning behind them. Talking about how Dre saved his life, gave him his career, and basically calling him out for losing his way.
