Dream Theater’s self-titled album will be released September 24. It is their 12th studio album and 4th album with Roadrunner Records.

As well, the single from the album "The Enemy Inside" will be released today, August 5th exclusively on USAToday.

What are your thoughts of the new art? Is anyone a fan of the band?

USAToday? That's a weird place to release new music.

I've always been a casual fan of DT. I'll give this a chance when it comes out.

I'm super pumped for this album! It's going to have not one but TWO instrumentals, and another 20 minute track akin to A Change of Seasons & Octavarium. I can't wait to see what Mangini brings to the table being fully integrated in the creative process. I get the feeling that this will be the best Dream Theater album since Metroplis, Pt. 2. The fact that it's a self titled album 12 albums into their career, to me, says a lot on how good the material is going to be.

Yep! I was kinda hoping for something different, but its still awesome! From what I've read from the people who were at the album listening party, it's a diverse album. It's even got live strings on Illumination Theory, the 20 minute track. Oh, and Mike Mangini is an absolute beast on the drums.

At first a didn't quite like it. It's defiantly a grower. Its kind of like a mix of Beneath the Surface and The Answer Lies Within. It seems like a lot of people have a problem with Jordan's keyboard slow, but I'm really loving it.
