This will sound dumb, but I can't really believe the figures I'm getting... If my car has gone 418kms, and used 39L of petrol, what would it's fuel consumption be?
Yeah I used an online calculator and got that. Somehow I was getting 10.7L/100km I dunno it's still more than it should be. Like I don't expect what Honda quote, which is 6.9L/100km, but still, I dunno.
Is that the quoted combined figure or just the highway one, as that's always lower. In any event the manufacturer quoted figures usually involve super light accelerating and up shifts at ~ 2000rpm. Reminds me, I need to get my car serviced. It's running rough so it's using a hell of a lot more fuel than it should. A 1/4 of a tank for a ~ 80km run last night.
Yeah that's highway, pretty sure city driving is only like 7.2 though. Mine just got serviced, not that they did anything... Ouch yeah, get it done. It'll just cost you more if you leave it...
