Source:ROCK LOUDER Escape the Fate was one of the most energetic bands I've seen, and I hope the new vocalist can continue that trend.
This was more or less confirmed some time in January. Anyway, Blessthefall is amazing and just as, if not more, energetic than Escape the Fate, so he'll be a good fit. He can't do the extremely deep death metal vocals like their old singer could though.
It's a bit of old news, but no one had posted it yet, so I thought I would. It's a little strange too, because Escape the Fate's lyrics were quite dark and sinister, while blessthefall is a Christian band with more hopeful lyrics. Does this mean Escape the Fate is a "Christian" band now? Either way, I'm sure they'll rock my face off, but it's just a very strange change.
I doubt Blessthefall ever considered themselves expressly Christian, unlike a band like Pillar or whatnot.
Yeah i heard about this a while ago. Does the guy from blessthefall sing? I heard some myspace stuff a while ago and didn't hear any clean vocals just screams.
