How so? EDIT: There's a quote in here that touches on the album title. Nothing too substantial, but the title doesn't appear to be some bold statement of intent, either. Anyway, I can't say I really care for the new songs at the moment.
Shit! We're getting a Sigur Ros treatment now? A video for every song on the album? I'm very okay with that! EDIT: Does this technically men that Save Rock and Roll is a concept album, considering that there's now an official narrative linked to it?
Having never been a huge Fall Out Boy fan (I liked some of their biggest songs alright), I have to say I'm completely obsessed with the two songs they've released for this new album. The verses in The Phoenix are way more aggressive than I've ever heard Patrick's voice get, it's so cool. And I love the "I'm on fiiiyaaaaa!" part of the chorus in My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark. So excited to hear the rest of this album.
The band just released a new song and the 2 Chainz remix of Light Em Up "Young Volcanoes" (video confirmed): https://soundcloud.com/falloutboy/young-volcanoes I actually like this song. Sure, it has a Simple Plan vibe, but it pretty shows how much of a good pop writer Patrick Stump is. I'm loving the fact that they're going all LP-ATS like where they don't care much about fans' opinions and do whatever they want. Patrick Stump, if he wasn't always with FOB, can create reallyc catchy music, such as his solo album. Loved The Phoenix and Light Em Up, but wasn't crazy about Young Volcanoes. Wasn't bad, but nothing too exciting.
I, for one, am LOVING "Young Volcanoes". I've honestly never heard a more organic and fresh sound from a rock band like Fall Out Boy, or pretty much any rock band in the past few years, besides Train of course. This song is 1000x better than "My Songs" and "The Phoenix"! It's THAT good! 5 MORE DAYS!!!

Well, it's difficult to judge things based on 30sec previews. Some of these tunes seems to continue the trend of fun catchy tracks, and I'll probably enjoy them. Though, there were 2 or 3 previews that I totally disliked. Anyway, we'll see, but for now, things are looking good for this record
