    The final Neilsen SoundScan reports for 2003 are in. Linkin Park's sophomore album, Meteora, sold a total of 3,478,361 units, barely edging out Evanescence for the top-selling rock artist of 2003. Here is the complete chart:

    01. 50 Cent – Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (6,535,809 units sold)
    02. Norah Jones – Come Away With Me (5,137,468 units sold)
    03. Linkin Park – Meteora (3,478,361 units sold)
    04. Evanescence – Fallen (3,364,738 units sold)
    05. OutKast – Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (3,089,849 units sold)
    06. Beyoncé – Dangerously In Love (2,527,485 units sold)
    07. R. Kelly – Chocolate Factory (2,439,536 units sold)
    08. Hilary Duff – Metamorphosis (2,405,544 units sold)
    09. Toby Keith – Shock'n Y'all (2,324,437 units sold)
    10. Coldplay – A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2,183,997 units sold)

    Congratulations to Linkin Park for beating Evanescence by a mere 113,623 copies to secure the top spot for 2003.

    Yea 50 Cent had a damn good year and its soo good to hear that LP beat Evanescence in album sales :D

    hillary duff sells more than coldplay, what are we comming too? Armigeddon is near fellow brothers, repent now!!!!!!!!![holds up street sign and stands on 5th avenue] this is awful!! but congrats to LP!
