The lyrics come from a scrapped LP song, so that basically sums up how it is lyric-wise. The delivery is good though, actually more angry than we normally see. The beat is good. Good for a demo.
I love the track. I've pretty much liked all the exclusive except the WYG Mix Joe did (sorry joe!). It's nice how he went back and looked at a scrapped LP song it looks like they just dont abandon them they use them for reffrence later on.
I see, too bad i can't ever join all of those street team, militia and all that stuff, due to some of those regulations. I hope to hear this track sometime soon.
HEY! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...riiiiiight So anyways, I hate to say it, the only time I log into FMM is to get the exclusive tracks. Which is bad, since I was like one of the first 100 to join it. =/
That sucks. I wish I was a member so that I could check it out, but I don't want to spend money just for that.
With the quality of songs that have come from the exclusives to the FMM, I'd say it was worth my money. A new track every month...so in a year, that'd be enough for a full CD. Plus the DVD you get and other stuff.
I get on every now and then to see if there's any exclusive news, but I always get on at the beginning of the month for sure to see for the new exclusive song. I personally think that this song is pretty good. It's dark, but it's catchy. I like the beat. It gives us exclusive stuff from both bands (Fort Minor and Linkin Park, Beat and Lyrics). I'm still looking for something better from Fort Minor. These songs, as they are, are pretty much watered down (with the exception of Tools of the Trade, and Ryu's verse on Do What We Did. Remixes...getting old. Demos are great. But something that maybe was cut last minute before the record would be awesome. Or maybe a demo of one of the songs off of the actual album.
I'd really like a studio recording of that medley FM always performed live...with all the different SOB songs mixed with Mike's original verses.
Does Mike have his own verse on Mr. Brown live? That song is rad. Back to the track, I like it a lot. Kinda reminds me of his verse on HBMS's R&RCNHHLT with the guitar-sound on the chorus and all. edit, i was talking about strange things... my bad
