I think it's safe to say after 15 minutes, Man Uited DEFINATELY don't deserve to be winning 1-0. EDIT: Also, Man Utd are being played off the park, and yet the commentators are all kissing their arses, it's annoying. I'd go on, but it's only little things which the Man U players are doing which shows what kind of a team they are...I'll let you decide what that is.
Commentators do that extremely often when large teams are playing. They bitch and moan about the team and how bad they are until they score. At which point they completely change their mind and kiss the team's arses. It's annoying.
This is what I hate. United have not deserved to be in the champions league final this season and have not deserved to win the league which they probably will whereas my team has put in it's heart and soul this season and will come away with nothing. What's more is that it looks like several of our key players will be leaving us. I can't look at football the same way after this season. This season has proved that you don't get what you deserve and that really upsets me.
Lately football is all about who can whine and fool the ref the best. If you looked back at that player of MU (don't remember his name) who fell in like the 91st minute you saw he got a foot in the face sure, but he didn't look hurt at all, he was more surprised and wanted to stand up, but then he decided to stay on the floor whining like a baby.
...And I couldn't be happier. Finally the Liverpool fans will shut the fuck up. Edit: @Luke: Sadly, that's how it goes but I think that Man Utd. deserve to be where they are considering that they've worked themselves up to that point instead of trying to go out and buy success like some teams (read: Liverpool and Chelsea).
That's not exactly true though is it? Hargreaves 17mil, Anderson ? (fee believed to be between 17-23mil), Nani £14mil, Tevez for god knows how much. Never mind some of the spending they've done in the past such as Rooney for 27mil, Ferdinand for 29mil and Veron for 32mil. That's actually more than what my team has spent in the past 3 seasons combined.
I meant more along the lines of them working up towards this rather than some guy with big bucks coming in and going "I feel like spending my money on something that'll have a giant return on it."
Well it looks like Flamini's off to Milan. A few years ago I might have been happy he was leaving but after the season he's had I'm quite devastated he's off.
