I think Premier League teams wanted to sign him a couple of years ago, but either he didn't want to leave or Swansea rejected their offers.
Playing against the last one today and I'm not even sure we'll win since we're always giving points to teams going through crisises. Oh yeah and Landreau is back from injury :S
What.A.Goal. If Cesc keeps up this kind of form and we actually win something this year, I think he's in the running for footballer of the year. He's been absolutely brilliant so far this season. What a result today.
Tresor Kandol is making quite an impact from the bench and i just realised the number of sending offs this week
Why am I not surprised whatsoever that Chelsea's transfer ban as been suspended allowing them to buy players in Jan?
Playing Bordeaux at home. They always have difficult times against us but we're so pathetic in the championship this year that I have no idea what this game will look like.
Wow...there I was thinking David NGog was a football player and all this time he was actually a long jumper.
A few interesting games from this weekend: -AS Monaco FC 0 - 0 Grenoble Foot 38 First point of Grenoble after 12 games. They were one game away from beating Manchester United's record of the 30's). -LOSC Lille Métropole 2 - 0 Girondins de Bordeaux (after defeating Grenoble last week we won against a pathetic Bordeaux wich lost its third away game in a row. Probably because of the qualification in the Champion's League). -Toulouse FC 3 - 2 Stade Rennais FC Rennes had the best defence two weeks ago but took 6 goals in the last two games. -Olympique Lyonnais 5 - 5 Olympique de Marseille (Latest 5-5 happened in 1957). Crazy game: 2-1 for lyon after 15 minutes. 2-2 at half time. 2-4 for Marseille at the 79th minute. 5-4 for Lyon at the 90th. And 5-5. Only team really happy about this game is Bordeaux wich still has the lead. Btw, the goals from Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Rennes which are the French national team goals took 15 goals altogether. Good news for Ireland
