The Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th series really relaunched the idea of horror movie villains as icons. Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees have haunted our nightmares seperately for decades, and now the two are coming together for one big party in Freddy vs. Jason. It has been almost 10 years since one of the scariest horror characters of all time, Freddy Krueger, invaded the dreams of a generation to exact his deadly form of revenge and murder. Now, Freddy has entered into the dreams of another master of evil - the unstoppable Jason Voorhees -- plunging cinema's two greatest titans of terror into a battle to end all battles. Starring: Robert Englund is back is his last role in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, Ken Kirzinger, Jason Ritter, Monica Keena, Jason Bateman, Brian Thompson, Kelly Rowland, Odessa Munroe, Danielle Harris, James Callahan, Lauren Lee Smith, Gary Chalk, Brendan Fletcher, Chris Gauthier, Jesse Hutch, Katherine Isabelle, Jake Kaese, Lochlyn Munro, Chris Marquette, Joshua Mihal, Paula Shaw, Brian Thompson, Kenneth Tsang. By the way, this is Nightmare on Elm Street part 8 and Friday the 13th part 11. Place your bets on who will win because this is the battle of the year! I go with Jason. I can't wait!!!!!!! This movie looks like a very successful sequel of Nightmare on Elm Street/Friday the 13th. <div align=center></div>
Cheater. I'm not a horror guy, but I'm gonna say Freddy. He's the cooler looking dude. And he scares the #### out of me.
Katherine Isabelle!! I love her k. I am terrified of Freddy so I'll see this just to relive my childhood nightmares.
Hey there's somebody from Destiny's Child it it! (Just when I thought it couldn't be any scarier) looks good
This movie looks stupid without a doubt, but seeing as I see movies for free, I'll be watching this on Thursday night.
I'm voting for Jason cause he doesn't have to wait for you to sleep. He can get you while your sleeping, eating, or even pooping in the bathroom. So, come on Jason !
I can't bet lots of money that they both die in a huge explosion, or at the same time so there is no victor. It'd be unjust to have a winner.
Okay, I saw it. I won't say who "wins." The plot - stupid. The gory/action - pretty good, lots of gory. The acting - barf. I'd give this movie like a 6.5/10. It was pretty boring until towards the end when it finally started having long action sequences. They go all out with the bloodyness. I didn't really like it - it was bleh; not scary.
Was it scary with jumpy scenes? There's this thing which has stuck with me since I was a little kid, i have one of those overactive imaginations where I actually visualize scary things and I can't sleep, lol. So was it suspenseful or jumpy?
The nightmare scenes weren't scary to be honest - there were some jumpy scenes, nothing big; it was more of a gorefest, really.
