    What is "Globus"

As the pioneers of the Epic Rock genre, Globus was formed by Los Angeles based Yoav Goren of Immediate Music, best known for writing the epic trailer music for some of Hollywood's biggest movie's of all time, including Lord of The Rings, War of The Worlds, Spider Man 2 & 3 and Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End.

Composer and producer Goren has created an emotional, powerful musical experience which takes the listener through some of the world's musical heritages and languages, fuses it with contemporary rock, and cements it all with a massive orchestra and choir. The result is Globus; a colossal band creating a blend of epic and dramatic music with the accessibility of mainstream of Rock and Pop.

Some songs in their 1st album: Epicon (2006)

I'm sorry, the pioneers of the 'epic rock' genre were E.S. Posthumus, who formed in 2000 (a full 6 years before Globus).

Their music has been featured in (or trailers for) The Boondock Saints, Planet of the Apes, Spider-Man, Minority Report, The Time Machine, The Lord of the Rings, Daredevil, Cold Case, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix Reloaded, Team America, National Treasure, Curse of the Golden Flower, Top Gear, Law & Order, Heroes, Lost, Sherlock Holmes, Avatar, and the NFL.

You may remember the song they composed for the NFL:

I copied those straight away from their Facebook, didn't make any research about it .
But, thank you because now I know more about this genre. You are always awesome :awesome:
But hell, how can I miss E.S Posthumus. Damn it!
And FYI, Globus is way after Immediate Music .

What Minus said. Music doesn't get much better than E.S. Posthumus.
