I got into a really Imagine Dragons mood last week and watched all their interviews and performances from the past month. Got me hyped as fuck and now I can't wait for them to announce the record.

The words read "Gold", "Summer", "Shots" and "Polaroid (?)". Could the new album be titled "Smoke and Mirrors"?

"Smoke and Mirrors" will be avaliable for pre-order tonight at 9pm PST, and will include a new song, "Gold". This also confirms "Polaroid", "Shots" and "Summer" as song titles.

I fucking love the title "Polaroid", and I can't wait to hear that track.

 

I hope in something better,"I Bet My Life" killed all my hype for Imagine Dragons.

 

"Gold" was just released and it's amazing! Dark, anthemic, atmospheric, electronic... It's everything I wanted from the band. And that chorus just rules.

This is without a doubt one of the best songs the band has ever written. Like... holy fuck!

 

Not sure how I feel about it, but ti definitely gives me massive "When They Come For Me" vibes with the swelling, tribal-like instrumental and the wailing in the background. So that's cool.

 

This song. THIS SONG. It's exactly what I wanted from "I Bet My Life". "Gold" is very...strange,love the vibes. Hype came back !

 

Gold blows I Bet My Life away. I want IBML to grow on me but the background vocal in the chorus is REALLY grating on me.
