Excuse me, I prefer social insect of the family Formicidae cowboy.
I for one think its a brilliant tracklist. Would never think "Lost in the Echo" would be the opener; as its the first album since HT without an intro/instrumental, I sure hope its over 5 mins in length to make up for it. "Castle of glass" is still one of the best. And Victimized has huge potential. Great simple names without sounding cliche' or overdone. Better than song titles like Don't stay, Given Up, With You, etc.
Even "Lies, Greed, Misery" is okay - sounds like it could be LP's equivalent of Jimmy Eat World's "Salt, Sweet, Sugar".
C'mon people, an LP album without the word "Lies" in it wouldn't be the same now would it?
I like a lot the titles, but... Some of the comments here, not so much, I disagree with most of them. But meh, I'm excited for all this shit now
I'm with you man. Can't wait to pre-order this shit. Although...it's gonna be a sad and long 2-month wait for the album to drop.
Yeah, "Bleed America" Thats the one. It was named "Salt sweet Sugar" for its international release cause of 9/11. Bad timing on Jimmy's part
Whoa, whoa, whoa. I just went a few pages back and saw some unnecessary hostility in this thread.
Can we all calm down and relax a little bit? It's just track names, nothing more.
Nice track listing. It seems that it doesn't have interludes. It's good. Real songs!
Yeah, and I find them all to be morally reprehensible.
C4TI and Session are more songs to me then empty spaces, jornada, wake,... imo, they're longer then 2 minutes and are not interludes to other songs. That's why I sepparated them.
My intention was that I'm happy that LT has 3 more 'songs' then ATS, but who knows there are also interlude(s) on LT, but I doubt that, except for Tinfoil maybe.
I wonder why they are going the all caps route with titles.
Wake & The Requiem are just as great as Session & CFtI in my opinion, they shouldn't be discounted. Empty spaces & Forward on the other hand...
I dont know, BUT I LOVE IT.
Ah... I missed the posts where you guys describe a song based on it's title and only it's title.
What if every single track is actually an interlude? And what if lost in the echo is a 40 second mike rap attack interlude
this thread is hilarious. i'm highly entertained by the stupidity...
as for the titles: i feel so good because i don't hate any of them haha.
mostly they're pretty great and the couple not-so-great ones aren't bad either and i'm sure the music will totally outshine the titles with the awesomeness linkin park created all 12 songs :]
Separate names with a comma.
