Fucking this! Definitely looking forward to the album too. A lot of potential right there, and I can already tell from the released tracks their voices/screams compliment pretty well with each other.
Mastodon and Dillinger are two of my favorite bands, so I've been psyched about this one for awhile.
Honestly, yep, I also though the 2 released tracks weren't as good or original as the stuff Mastodon/DEP usually put out. But being the big fan of both bands and also of Soulfly that I am, the simple fact of knowing those guys have done something together has got me fanboying
Troy Sanders is fucking awesome dude. Great vid IMO. Max looks like a damn idiot though.
I really like that song. Even more so since I realized the title and the lyrics are a reference to Icarus. If Max is the slightly chubby dude then I agree. He's so distracting, in a bad way. Also, the amount of times he takes his hands off his guitar while his guitar plays itself or while his vocals run off without him singing...
Yah, that's Max Cavalera. He's great, but he just looks so stupid with the shit he's doing with his hands on his vocal bridge. I was like, "Hey, look, Jack Black is in Killer Be Killed!"
Lol Max is a fucking metal legend. Sepultura was way ahead of it's time. I gonna cut the guy some slack on looking goofy in a music video.
If I wanted to listen to Max's music, should I start with Sepultura, or Soulfly? And if Sepultura, which album? I'm thinking about checking out Roots.
Definitely Sepultura. Although Soulfly really isn't all that different. He has another band with his brother Igor called Cavalera Conspiracy. They're good, although once again, not too different.
