Haha, here's one band a lot of people wouldn't want reforming.

I'm interested in it. Actually if there's new material, i cant wait to hear it. Terry Balsamo is apparently in the band now as Borland's replacement.

For the love of God I hope not. I saw them live one time, in 2003 on the Summer Sanitarium tour and I have never been more disappointed in a set as I was in theirs. All Fred Durst did pretty much was bitch about Britney Spears and what a whore she was

I think this writer from Rolling Stone sums up my thoughts pretty well.

Limp Bizkit's biggest problem is Fred Durst.

The instrumentation itself was always top notch and Wes Borland was an outstanding guitarist. But then as soon as Durst's vocals and childish lyrics came in, it ruined whatever awesomeness came before it.

I dunno about everyone else, but I'm always game for some new bizkit. It's fun music to listen to. One hell of a live show too.

    MUSIC IZ SERIOUS BUZINESS.

I'm all for this, personally. Their older albums bring back good memories, and their newer material isn't offensive. That said, though, the Bizkit have worn out their welcome with alot of people. But, it's too bad Borland decided to join/tour with another group from the 90s that have worn our their welcome and drained the creativity they once had in exchange for cheesy gothic lyrics.

    Too bad.

I think if this does happen it'll be one of those things that doesn't gain a huge amount of attention and just fizzles out.

I saw them on the same tour in Philadelphia, and they out-performed Metallica & Linkin Park.

I'd love to hear some new material but I think this could potentially turn into Chinese Democracy part 2 though.

Except the gap between Limp's last album isn't 20 years.

am I the only one that really loved Limp Bizkit? yeah Fred Durst is a douchenozzle 90% of the time, but dammit, I think of Limp Bizkit as one of the "bands of my generation". I fell away from them around Results May Vary and The Unquestionable Truth Pt. 1, but I'd be excited to see them return with the original members and a new CD.

I agree, although I thought parts of Results May Vary were pretty good but the only song I can actually listen to on The Unquestionable Truth pt1 is The Truth. I don't think there's any chance of Wes ever returning to the band again though. Then again stranger things have happened...

I dunno...maybe the so called 'nu-metal' bands who kept the same sound through the years should finally give it up. It's a shame because I thought the 'nu-metal' era had some pretty good music but that era is dead, simple as. I'd love to see Limp Bizkit back and I'm really interested to hear how Crazy Town sound after all these years but I fear that if they don't have a fresh sound then they'll just fail completely.

What I meant was that it's one thing saying something, it's another thing actually going through with it. Axl Rose said that Chinese Democracy would be coming out ''real soon'' back in 1996 and has been ever since but still nothing. I fear that Fred Durst might be just giving the fans some false hope to keep faith in the band's music.

Oh, I know what you meant the first time around, Luke. No biggie.

And I agree with 2x. The biggest reason why people hate on Limp is because he's an asshat, but the music isn't far away from what most of us here listened to during that era, and most probably still listen to that type of stuff, I know I do. That was the era when I really got into music heavy, so that genre is never gonna get old with me, although if Limp did actually release anything new, they should try something a bit different.

Three Dolla Bill, Yall$ & Significant Other were great albums, and most would agree. But I also feel like Chocolate Starfish and Results May Vary are solid albums in themselves. So, I dunno, the only album they really made that was bad, IMO, was The Unquestionable Truth, but, hey.
