    So you're calling our site a joke now because we played a simple prank? We could have done a lot worse then saying a new song. We could have acted like LPA was closing down or that something really bad had happened, but we didn't so be thankful and have a good laugh out of this. You'll be getting new material towards the end of the year anyways, sheesh.

    i cant wait for the new material..i hope its actually new, and not stuff like remixes..yeah, they can be good..but new/original songs are just better IMO

    Exactly, guys, you should have seen some of the stuff we saw that the LPA could have easily done. This was but a poke besides the punches the LPA would have got if it did anything different. But, of CONCERN for our members, the LPA decided to do this. Trust me, it could have been SO MUCH more worse than it was. Lighten up.

    It will be new material. Both Mike and Chester said they are currently writing songs and they are in their infancy but that they wish to release them by the end of the year. So no worries. ^_^

    I'm glad LPA did this. This is my honest opinion. I simply think LPA becomes to much like an "association", and i'm glad they showed a real side.

    Whoever that person was who was crying "You guys have alot of credibility to earn back", go shove it son. Are you paying the staff's salaries? I didn't think so. They do this on their own time. You're obviously still here because there are no other LP sites within proximity of what the LPA provides. Why crumble when they try to show that they have a little humor?

    Wow, children these days...

    There were a few hints this was fake too. "Since BTH will be out for a limited time" was the first. They still sell singles from the 1960's so why not Breaking The Habit for the next 40 years?

    Also if it had "brilliant guitar work by Brad and a bone-chilling piano arrangement throughout the entire song." it would not be a B-Side. It would be an album song.

    But still, props to everyone who laughed along with us.

    The end of this year is too soon for LP to release a song :( its going to sound the exact same as the ones they have now, I think but I hope not. I have had this on my mind for a very long time and a couple weeks ago I made a thread about the Linkin Park tour book that LPmerch.com is selling and I would just like to say that I knew that wasnt the book that they would release at the end of this year and that was jus a book for the Meteora tour with pics and stuff. :D

    Screw this! LPA has lost all it's damn credibility. Alex, Derek, and everyone involved, I can't believe you guys. I mean, you built this site from ground up on the idea that your news was always as accurate as possible. THen you throw this into the mix, and BLAM, you erase all the credibility you had built up.

    FORGET THIS CRAP! :angry: I'm leaving the stupid LPA, frickin' egotistical low-lifes without a clue trying to run a website...Get over yourselves, your crap is lame. LPA = Lame Piece of Agriculture :angry: :angry:

    Seriously, don't do this crap again. You just lost a member.

    Yeah it's definetely not the book they are releasing at the end of the year as it lacks the 'interviews' they were talking about.

    Also don't be too sure it will sound the same, LP can change their sound a lot if they strive to, and I'm sure they will as Meteora is technically more then 2 years old (considering the worked on the songs for 18 months and Meteora was released a year ago, thats about two years in the making).

    Well I think that this April Fools Joke was hilarious. (After some members post's had reminded me that tomorrow is April 1st..) I kinda figured it was a April Fools prank. Mostly because I knew that most of you have a great sense of humor and would like to make some of the members laugh at least a little bit. I think it was a great thing to do..it sure made me laugh!!
    The LPA is still my #1 place to go to find out the newest Linkin Park information..and I am sure it always will be :D

    LOL i think this was the best April fools joke yet that has been done to me but i remember this April Fools joke this radio station had a while ago and the joke was they told everybody that the first person to there studios would get a million bucks and thousands and thousands of people showed up and then they said APRIL FOOLS LOL but then they got fired for doing it :mellow:

    Actually you know what's weird. Was it really an April Fool's joke? Think about it? It's March 31st here, but on the other side of the world it's not. So maybe it got started so we all THINK it a April Fool's joke. Honeslty I wouldn't be suprised if tomorrow when April 1st comes to us that LPA wouldn't post something like "Here's the real song". I actually download "Another faithfull day" off kazaa and it's IS linkin park without a doubt. I think the whole thing was to get our hopes down so we forget about it, then they suprise us with the real song. I have the lyrics, well...not 100% but it's from what I heard. Take a look....

    There's no LP song called Another Faithful Day!!! What you have is a fake, and has nothing to do with the LPA, just a coninsidence
