It's not like that, genius. I listened to every LP album online first, but I still bought every CD from them (I just missed Recharged,I'm not really into that kind of stuff). And I'll do so even with THP.
My opinion on the album is the EXACT opposite of yours. I think every song is solid. Weakest song on the album for me? Final Masquerade.... It's all opinions man. If you enjoy it then more power to ya, if not move onto something else.
Seriously tho, you have an album inspired by great rock music like ratm and soad. You have tom morello guest on the album and do a track like drawbar? What a freaking waste that was. I bet even tom was like ehh thats it? I bet Tom could of busted out the sickest riff on the album in like 12 seconds. Especially when a lot of the riffs on the album sound very similar to each other. A line in the sand is essentially a variation of guilty all the same. I actually couldn't believe it when I first heard it. The intro, verse with the marching beat, chorus are almost the same just changed a little bit. If they utilized tom morello better, changed the chorus on wastelands and a completely different song replacing a line in the sand this album could of been amazing. There must be some explanation cause there's no way LP didn't notice when doing a line in the sand that wait, this sounds familiar? Guilty all the same!! oops i meant Gimme back whats mine!! oops wait no i meant in the wastelands of today!
Love it, first listen, i loved the first half better then the second half, with exception of ALITS-> Great. Mark the graves was also great, a little experimental, but i didn't love it on first listen.
Keys To The Kingdom is such an epic album opener. I was blown away. I can't even comprehend what I heard.
I analyzed my 320 again, and the readings looked weird. I stopped listening because Until It's Gone sounded a bit distorted from my 320 copy of it.
Mark the Graves is really interesting. I'll need to listen to it something more like 10x to understand it better.
