The final ''fuck'' sounds an awful lot like Oli Sykes. EDIT @BLACKOUT: I hear Chelsea Smile like 5 times a day, I'd recognise that.
I wasn't trying to suggest it was CS, just sounded similar! I'm positive it is Chester screaming, Oli is a bit less polished than that.
It's Chester for sure, I think We have 11 songs (Drawbar is instrumental) Maybe hmm 6 songs will be strong with scream for example KTTK AFN War MTG TS and Rebelion
If you ask me, it sounds like a random Chester scream out of an existing acapella, a little bit modified with whatever programme, and copied over a random metal instrumental....
The track is way too Metal to ever be Linkin Park! It almost sounds Djent. I could NEVER see Linkin Park doing this. Especially on an album that also has UIG. Way to Meshuggah-ish to be Linkin Park
That was my first hunch (as such a technique has already been used to produce a fake this album cycle) but without knowing the source of this file, and who recorded it...it's really tough to know it's authenticity.
Being that the recording is in a control room you know it's fake. Mike/LP wouldn't have rogue posted this somewhere. If they wanted to post a little teaser type thing they would do it through instagram/facebook like they have been. The only other possibility I can think of is one of the camera crew got this recorded and put it out on the internet which seems highly highly unlikely. I'm sure those guys sign all kinds of waivers and non-disclosures and whatnot. They'd be in such deep shit its not even funny. Not worth risking it for a 5 second video.
According to this picture Drawbar was the working title for Final Masquerade. I can definitely see that track being a lead-in track to FM containing some of the same elements like the relationship between Tinfoil and Powerless.
Well I apologise for sounding like a dick, it just seems so absurd to have such a dream collaboration be a lead in type track!
It'd be sweet if Drawbar was an instrumental but is longer than LP's usual interludes. Something like 2 minutes - 2:30 and then leads into Final Masquerade which has the same sonic landscape like Tinfoil/Powerless. Jornada is my favorite LP instrumental and that is only a minute and a half. An additional minute of just awesome music especially with Tom featured would be so welcome.
Well if it were any of the songs you've heard, you'd know if it's legitimate or not... You'd probably not be allowed to comment on that legitimacy or lack thereof though... NVM, actually went back and read the thread and saw you said it seemed fake.
