I think everything is intentional. The foto, the tweet from Talinda. They give us clues I guess, at least trollnoda knows that we'll dig up. There will probably be more than one acoustic song in my opinion.
I personally thought it was fantastic. I'd love for there to be more acoustic songs. Fingers crossed. As far as the release. I really do see something happening next week.
I think it's time for some acoustic Linkin Park music. Can't believe that after all the styles and sound the band have done, they only have one real acoustic song in The Messenger.
First time post just want to say no matter what the single sounds like the album will be different than any album one thing about this band none of there cds sound the same I love every album thp was one of there most complete albums imo just have to say I'm excited to just hear what linkin park has made I will love it no matter what cause its LP
I was thinking that, it would be more logical if they tell us some type of information, like the title, cover, name of the songs, length of the album... before they release the single. It's the typical promotional process of a new album, not? PD: Sorry for the possible mistaken, i'm spanish and the english it's not my first lenguage
I'm not a very patient person, but now that the album info might drop at any minute, I am starting to feel annoyed at checking the news everyday and seeing nothing UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
And i'm still waiting here for news. but. no there's nothing. fucking trollnida says subcribe for the LP email list for "updates" but there's also NORTHING. WTF! ARE THESE GUYS DOING? COOKING A CURE FOR CANCER OR WHAT?
For the last two album cycles, the band starting by announcing tour dates, then a single and album title at pretty much same time, followed by the tracklist/second single a few weeks later.
Who's excited for the cover art????? The booklet????? Man I look forward to everything with this band
Yep. all of it. I'm also really hoping for a special edition with a "making of LP7" video. I loved the one that came with Minutes to Midnight.
I'd take 10 five minute or longer songs over 12 songs with the typical eleventh track being an instrumental.
Sometime next week is seeming like a safe bet for a single, maybe on Friday? "Guilty All the Same" was released on a Friday if I'm not mistaken. I was disappointed that we didn't get one for THP, aside from some LPTVs. If there was a special edition that included a making of, I'd buy it instantly over the standard.
Right... same here. Even though it's been made quite clear there would be at least the weekend off first before the releasing/dropping of music. A couple more hours at least! Fingers crossed for music soon, not only news.
Totally agree with that. I like every instrumental track made by them, but I consider that Linkin Park can try to make one album without any instrumental song. And yes, i'm bored of these type of covers full of white and tons of gray. I'm begining to think that the next album can be called "fifty shadows of gray"
