Alright. So. I know it is going to be hard to listen to it with an already negative connotation towards it, but my wise words of advise are going to tell you to try to go in listening to Meteora with an open mind. Also, if you like it, don't be ashamed of it or sit and write a scathing "review" of how bad you "think" it is just to fit in. Like what you like, that's what makes you who you are.
Two years later the only songs I consistently come back to are Roads Untraveled and Powerless. Maybe every once and a while I'll listen to Castle of Glass as well. Not a bad album, but it has its flaws. It feels slightly rushed to me, but I'm not sure how much of an objectively better album they could have made given if they had more development time. Not that it would have mattered anyways, I'm sure they made exactly what they had intended. But no reason to ponder on the what-ifs, as it currently is I would rate it a 6.5/10. Good, but far from great.
