In The End is amazing, and a timeless classic. But not just because its new LITE is fucking amazing. And in 12 years time, it will be a classic too.

    My vote goes to LITE.

    Yeah.

It was a pretty good nu-metal song at a time when nu-metal was popular.

I'm pretty sure it was no. 1 on the American top 40. My sisters used to listen to it every weekend and In the End was no. 1 four weeks in a row.

Yeah, and all the other bands making pretty good nu-metal songs when nu-metal was popular weren't able to sniff being no. 1 on the pop charts.

In The End was no. 1 on MTV ASIA Year End Countdown. I am not sure what year that was.

In The End is only good for nostalgia, trying to listen to it these days is a tedious experience. It's not embarrassingly bad, but it didn't hold up well at all.

Pitting two dissimilar songs against one another, without any reasoning provided for why they're being compared, doesn't make any sense to me. In the future, if anyone is making a "vs." thread, please provide justification of why you've picked the two songs. Otherwise, we're going to have dozens of meaningless song a vs. song b threads.
