It's okay, it's just we remember back during MTM, WB shut down sites that were hosting copyrighted material and we just don't wanna be one of those sites. We know you meant well, no biggie :).

As mentioned on the previous page, please do not ask for instrumentals or acapellas here. They are copyrighted material and we will not be providing them publicly on these forums. As stated in the rules, it is the responsibility of the entrants to find what they are looking for.

There are Bleed It Out multitracks on the internet, and just by googling it now I've already found them. They aren't too hard to find :).

If anyone is wondering about what kind of stuff is out there for those new to mashups and are trying to find specific Linkin Park tracks just so you don't waste your time looking for stuff that's not there, here's a list to my knowledge of what you can find on the Internet by searches or your own methods:

    Multitracks From video games:

    • What I've Done (Guitar Hero World Tour [Disc] / Rock Band 3 [DLC])
    • One Step Closer (Rock Band 2 [DLC])
    • Given Up (Rock Revolution)
    • Bleed It Out (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock [Disc])
    • Burning In The Skies (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock [DLC])
    • Waiting For The End (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock / Rock Band 3 [DLC])
    • Blackout (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock [DLC])
    • Wretches and Kings (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock [DLC])
    • The Catalyst (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock [DLC]) (Also samples of the song were released for a remix contest)
    • The Messenger (Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock [DLC])
    • In The End (Rock Band 3 [DLC])
    • Crawling (Rock Band 3 [DLC])
    • Somewhere I Belong (Rock Band 3 [DLC])
    • Numb (Rock Band 3 [DLC])
    • When They Come For Me (Diplo Remix) (DJ Hero 2 [DLC])
    • Pts. Of.Athrty (FSG Remix) (DJ Hero 2 [DLC])
    • The Catalyst (Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix) (FSG Remix) (DJ Hero 2 [DLC])

And off the top my head, here are some other officially released tracks you can find.

    Instrumentals:

    • With You (Sample from the Frat Party DVD)
    • Runaway (Sample from the Frat Party DVD)
    • Forgotten (Sample from the Frat Party DVD)
    • Pushing Me Away (Sample fromt he Frat Party DVD)
    • Enth E ND
    • FRGT/10
    • H! Vltg3
    • KRWLNG (without the intro)
    • Dirt off Your Shoulder / Lying From You (not the whole song)
    • Numb / Encore
    • Robot Boy (From the A Thousand Suns tour DVD)

    Acapellas:

    • Pushing Me Away (I still don't know where this came from, but it's out there)
    • H! Vltg3
    • Numb / Encore

There's also many convincing fan made instrumentals that sound nearly identical to the originals, songs that are actual instrumental songs (like Session, A.06, etc) that you can use, you could also sample parts of a song without lyrics (people sometimes do this with Points of Authority, for example), or you could also find tracks that had the vocals extracted from the audio for acapellas but beware that these tracks typically sound terrible and you'll probably want to add some effects to them to make them sound half-decent with whatever song you're mixing with. If I missed anything I guess point it out for others who are looking...

Also, because I've got this question a lot, I have a vlog on my YouTube channel explaining the multitracks a bit more but read the description because I got a few minor details wrong.

What's your idea? Making mashups is actually fairly easy, you should give it a try.

Ah, literally the easiest thing to mashup. I think there's more LP/Eminem mashups than anything else out there. Most of the software we've recommended come with trial versions you can use. Audacity is free but, again, I wouldn't recommend that for you. I believe the Sony Acid trials let you export your music as mp3 files so I'd go with that because the others ones will require you to buy the full versions. If you try out Mixcraft, though, and find that you enjoy making mashups I would suggest buying that program because I believe it is the cheapest software you'll find.

This one started out as a game actually, I wanted to incorporate as many background sounds you wouldn't normally notice that easily in LP songs and put it into one song and ask the listeners to guess which songs I used and which parts of the songs (hence the name Enigma). This resulted into, in my opinion, a unique sound.

    [video=youtube;jIEMjLJtW-E]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIEMjLJtW-E&feature=related[/video]

I made these some months ago, I thought it'd be cool to post'em here. I called them remixes but they're basically mash-ups of several LP songs. The first one is my entry because it's the more unique one of the two and the longest one (and I like it more too).

Youtube messed with the sound and video quality of the second one though so I put a download link in the description. I put the download link for the other one too for possible better sound quality.
