LPU Summit & London Shows

The day was fuckin awesome, infact it started off great with that MFR project, approx 15-20 people and we planted 135 trees altogether, was fun and Ree couldn't even dig The crew members were awesome too, like Ree said, Eddie was one of the event organizer and he says he has worked with 100's of bands including Creed, Paparoach etc. After tree planting we got an envelope with signed LP pic, MFR bandana and stuffs.We had a group picture and then me and two other girls headed towards Hyde Park for Football match where I met Adam, Mark and other crew.There were around 30 people over there.While we were waiting for the balls, which were with other crew people who were stuck in traffic, Adam told us that there will be ATS demos on the CD along with stuffs that we've never heard before. We then made 4 teams to compete for MnG, unfortunately my team lost. So while the final two teams were playing, the guys sitting out made another team to play just for fun and Adam was in the opposite team, and this time we won After that we again had group pictures and Mark recorded me and some other guys talking about the Summit and MFR. It was 4:30 by then and everyone had to leave for O2 as Adam had some stuff to do over there, so me and 2 other friends joined Adam,Eddie and Adam's room mate on the way towards O2. In the train we had some casual talks and he told me that US tour dates will be announced next week and that one of the LPTV episode is in editing process. And then after reaching O2 they went backstage and we were just wandering around the O2 checking out the AWESOME merchandise.

 

Derek I see what you are saying but I just don't want a shitload of low quality tunes. I would like to see some Meteora demos and b-sides too. We will find this tommorrow so it's not a big deal.

 

I'm with you somewhat. I'm not specificallly looking forward to Xero (I don't like any songs on the mix tape except RME a little) demos. Though I'm not ruling out me liking them or not.

Pictureboard sadly isn't going to be on the CD Also I believe there's only one Xero song on the CD, and I think it's an instrumental.

 

Dang. Makes you wonder how, with all the relentless hype / begging for the song, they can't just release it. Either way, still pumped for the release.

Instrumentals are always OKAY, but surely there's 100's of songs with vocals that they could release.

 

I just got back from the show and it was amazing. It was the standard first setlist (with Papercut, The Messenger and BITS over BIO) but it was immense.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Technique (Long).

Which I'm excited about because it fits the 'instrumental' theory. And if it is a Xero demo they used for the HTEP...

 

I think Technique (short) is the final product of the song. The reason it is called (short) is the same reason why a rap song would have (skit) or an intro tag.

 

I dunno. Technique (Long) would effectively be a less polished version of Session, yes? that's not that exciting..
