    I want this to be the "indie pop crap" that they threw away.

    Realistically, it's probably the album we all know is already made and probably getting ready to be released... Which if it is Mall, still nothing to complain about. Good stuff incoming

    I'm hoping it isn't something that has already been announced instead of Mall OST like we have known about for so long. Like when ALTNC came out last summer, except that was completely unannounced. I really doubt that it would be an entire album, but even an EP would be awesome. Hoping for something by Linkin Park instead of a side project

    It's the first time in a long time LP hasn't released the "making of" DVD or videos of their new album when it's released. So maybe they are waiting to release the rest of The Hunting Party before they release the behind the scenes

    First time ever, pretty much - from "Meteora" and onward, every album has been accompanied by a 20-plus-minute behind-the-scenes documentary

    I'm betting on The Mall Soundtrack, it's the most likely thing to be released. Otherwise I'd agree with others and say that an instrumental/acapella of THP is the other likely choice. And right before I jumped over to LPA here a minute ago I was going to make the joke about when we are getting something new. Looks like Mike beat me to the punch. I had a long talk with a friend of mine about why I won't expect another Fort Minor album. And long story short I believe that LP has evolved to something that Mike can implement his ideas and style into the music. Not to say the others can't or couldn't but I believe with studio interference with Meteora that Mike wanted to do the side project as a means to creatively go where he wanted too. Now that MTM, ATS, LT, and THP have come, Warner Bros knows now that LP is a constantly changing things up. And is going in a way that Mike is happy with. I loved what Mike and Chester did with their side projects but I just don't see Mike doing Fort Minor in the near future. And if he is it will be at a slower pace than we would be be comfortable with.

    I mean, if this is the case, I personally find it a little strange that he would phrase a collection of instrumental/vocal mixes of songs from "The Hunting Party" as "a new album" (assuming that he was accurately quoted)

    I'm not really expecting anything to come out of this personally but will be pleasantly surprised if we get anything.
