This has to be the worst Live 8 concert ever. MTV is killing this event by showing way more interviews then actual concert footage. So far my family clocked about 25 minutes of talking and only maybe 10 minutes of actual performances. I know they are going to do this to Linkin Park's set so I am just in total disbelief that they could do this to us people, who support this cause and want to see the music and not some inexperienced chump named Damien talking for 20 minutes. Then to add insult to injury, MTV knows that people will be watching this so they run about 10 minutes of commercials. This is not only the worst Live 8 concert ever, but a proof that MTV has lost their touch. And furthermore, eliminating poverty in Africa wont end poverty altogether. There are poor people in China, poor people in Iraq even. And it's great how this is quickly turning into the most racist broadcasting MTV has ever played on the air. To hell with MTV, turn off Live 8 in protest.
I'm just waiting until some of the performances come to all the internet sites like Videopimp or UCV or something.
Here in Holland they show alot of performances. MTV shows nothing about it, but they had 4 hours talking about poverty and other countries in trouble. I dont mind that I dont see anything of the performances.
