Does anyone have any idea when this comes out? im thinking about getting Gears of War but i wont bother if Halo is out soon, their both the same to me
Well, on Bungie they said that Halo 3 is coming in Spring 2007, but in Spring 2007 there'll also be the beta for Halo 3 multiplayer online. So I dont know Cal: They're not GoW is a run-and-duck game, Halo is a run-and-gun game
The trailer itself doesn't contain any in-game footage, but it does contain ideas for what the game will include, so that shield grenade should be pretty sweet, and hopefully the ability to dash will be included as well. I know you'll be able to sling a weapon over your shoulder now, and players other than yourself in multiplayer will be able to see what gun you're carrying to the side.
Even if you think the games are overrated, you could do a lot worse than watch that if you wanted to know how to make a great trailer.

Two guys from 1UP and GameVideos went over pretty much every frame of the trailer and pointed out some pretty good stuff, and also shed some really cool speculation on certain aspects of it. A really interesting watch.
the graphics look pretty sweet, but they should've shown like a bit of blasting after MC runs off the cliff, kind of give you more preview...
