Will, if you want to get better at Fantasy Football, just switch your team weekly to include mostly players that are playing against the Lions.
27 - 21 to Pats. Cassel is holding out, hopefully trying to recover from last week's rather unfortunate lose.
I have high hopes for Derek Anderson for the rest of the season. I just picked him up on my fantasy team after his performance tonight. They are promising good things for him.
Cowboys CB Adam Jones was suspended for four games. The Lions and the Cowboys agreed on a trade bringing Lions WR Roy Williams to the Cowboys. The Redskins signed former Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander. I think the Chiefs are still willing to deal TE Tony Gonzalez before the day is over. Edit — Well, the four o'clock trading deadline has come and gone and the Chiefs still have Gonzales. Looks like he'll have to ask to be traded during the offseason to a contender if he ever wants a Super Bowl ring, or at least a shot at one. He'll go to the Patriots, watch.
I'm going to make a really bold prediction today, and say the Detroit Lions will... LOSE. (But not by much! )
I want to see the Browns bench QB Derek Anderson in favor of Brady Quinn. I also want to see WR Braylon Edwards take pass-catching classes.
Will, I'm still baffled that Quinn isn't the starter. The guy was crazy in college, even had a Subway commercial and still doesn't play. Double-U-Tee-Eff.
Their decision not to put Quinn in was smart, considering how often Cleveland ruins quarterbacks with promising careers ahead of them (Tim Couch and Charlie Frye come to mind). But I can't understand why they're sticking with Anderson when he makes horrible decisions and can't make the right reads on plays. He's been sacked half as many times this year as he was all of last year already and it's because he's holding onto the ball way too long. I say give Quinn a shot. That's what we drafted him for.
