Last year when Cutler went down. Chiefs were ahead of the Bears on the waiver wire, so they got him. I think the Cowboys tried to claim him as well, but they ended up with him in the offseason.
So as I'm sure most of you have heard, the replacement refs have officially and directly cost a team a win. I was speechless when I saw it happen.
Still supporting that call. Good call in my honest opinion, call me stupid if you want but it's what I think. and complaining about it doesn't change anything. arguing about it, doesn't change people's opinions. I honestly think the seahawks will start 4-1, possibly 5-1
It's a bullshit call. Jennings had it all the way. You can support the call on the field as much as you want, but unlike The Uncatch, there's no denying this by any sort of rule. But, I'm a Bears fan and the Packers got screwed over. If it had to happen to anyone it might as well be them.
This isn't a matter of opinion. That's the great thing about rules, they're definable and concrete. Did Jennings have control of the ball? Yes. Two hands, in his chest. Did Tate? No. He had one hand between the ball and the defender's chest. That is NOT a tie possession. You're a Seahawks fan, the call works in your favor. But don't drink the kool aid. Your team was handed a win.
Some people say Simultaneous possession anyways, support what side you want. arguing doesn't change anything. and I still got my awesome new sig
Seahawks fans are the only people who say that. I'll restate what I said: One hand between the ball and someone's chest is not possession, as defined by the NFL itself. Two hands on the ball, clutched towards your chest, IS possession. There cannot be a tie possession if one guy possessed before the other. Again, there are no sides to support here. There is only a truth. The call was wrong, as it is clearly defined by the NFL rules, and the Seahawks were handed a win by the 13th man.
As a Packers fan, I feel burned. As a NFL fan, I feel this whole year is tainted and should go down in the record books with an asterisk. Shame on Roger Goodell for letting this happen.
This is way more exciting than other years. Fuck the real refs. You had the Pats game Sunday night that was really controversial, then the Packers game that was even more controversial. I'd rather watch this.
Some people say that the Earth is flat and that dinosaurs are a lie created by Satan. View attachment 5580 It's simultaneous if you count that Tate has possession of Jennings' upper torso, but it sure as hell looks like the Packer has full possession of the ball.
It amazes me how many Bears fans are supporting the Packers with the bad call. I am pleasantly surprised.
I'd sure as hell be pissed off if it happened to the Bears. And we were on the other side of the fence a few years ago with Calvin Johnson's Non-catch. Lions' fans still whine about that one. Don't celebrate before securing the ball. This case is completely different. Actually, I can appreciate Packer fans more. Unless you're almost 100 years old, you were born into the rivalry. It's just a part of life now. Lions' fans haven't been here in a long time, so their egos went up as fast as the players' with the sudden success. In one season.
I actually hate the Vikings and Lions more than I hate the Bears... If you were to say I even hated the Bears. The Bears don't even have a spot on my top 5 least liked NFL teams.
If you guys haven't heard, the NFL is working out a deal with the real refs. Some reports say they will be back by Sunday but Thursdays game will not include them
